This chair is really something special, as it is useful for so long and in so many ways. * When positioned one way, the seat height is 16 cm, perfect for the littlest of legs. The sturdy arms and back help the child to sit up from a very young age and is great for meals if tucked right up the edge of a small table.(see photo above. This is our son at 10 months old) * When the cube is flipped over the seat height becomes 20.5cm and has grown with your child. The arms and back still provide support for the child, but is not quite as deep as before since the child is more able to sit unassisted. (see small photo on 'furniture' page) *Lastly, when the cube chair is placed with the solid side up, it becomes a stool with a seat height of 30cm. This can be used by the adult, a taller child or, if bought as a pair, the second cube chair can be used as the perfect sized table! This item is hand crafted and specially made for Montessori Child.
